The TEOSYAL® family of injectable fillers is a Swiss-made hyaluronic acid filler.

TEOSYAL® offers a complete range of 100% non-animal origin resorbable hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler products for a global and personalized treatment of the face. These fillers can be used all over the face, including lips, cheeks, forehead and the delicate skin around the eyes, as well as the neck and neckline.

TEOSYAL® has a whole line of products.

They include:

  • TEOSYAL® Ultra Deep
  • TEOSYAL® Kiss
  • TEOSYAL® Redensity I
  • TEOSYAL® Redensity II
  • TEOSYAL® RHA 1-4

What is TEOSYAL®Redensity II?

Redensity® II injectable is designed for under-eye circles.

Redensity® II II contains hyaluronic acid, as well as antioxidants, and 7 amino acids also known as the dermal restructuring complex.

Oftentimes fillers in the tear trough area may look overdone. This product is designed to give a soft and natural correction that is long lasting. There is very little swelling after injections and patient satisfaction is extremely high.

The eye circle is a very delicate area to treat. The skin in this area is very thin. This can be easily complemented with RII eye serum.

What is the TEOSYAL® RHA Product Line?

Teosyal® RHA hyaluronic acid has gone through an innovative manufacturing process designed for facial dynamism, giving patients the natural look of facial movement with these dynamic fillers.

This product line is designed to be injected in the more elastic or dynamic areas of the face such as the perioral area (around the mouth) the lateral face or the periorbital area (around the eyes) where there is more movement.

The physical characteristic of this line of TEOSYAL® products is softer and is more stretchable to accommodate these areas of movements in the face. The result is a much more natural effect after injections, as the product will stretch and bend with the movement in the area injected.

These fillers are a nice complement to the other fillers that give volume or projection in the cheeks, chin or lips for example.

What is hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a glycosaminoglycan component of the extracellular tissue of various human organs, present with the same composition in all living beings.

The body of an adult individual has about 15 gm of hyaluronic acid, approximately 50% of which is located in the skin. Due to its viscoelastic properties, it is the main substance found in the dermis.

Is hyaluronic acid a natural substance?

Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide found naturally in the dermis or skin, connective tissue and in synovial fluid.

It is present with the same composition in all living beings.

The body of an adult individual has about 15 gm of hyaluronic acid, approximately 50% of which is located in the skin. Due to its viscoelastic properties, it’s the main substance found in the dermis, making it extremely compatible.

It is therefore extremely compatible. Its ability to draw water assists in the hydration of the skin as well as provide tissue turgor.

Where can TEOSYAL® HA fillers be injected?

These products are injected into the skin to correct deep folds and to provide volume restoration where needed or desired.

Examples of areas that can be injected are

  • Cheeks
  • Lips
  • Hands
  • Nose
  • Perioral lines or smoker lines
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Marionette lines
  • Chin
  • Jawline
  • Temples
  • Wrinkles
  • Tear troughs or hollows under the eyes

Often multiple syringes are required to achieve the desired results.

Are the results permanent?

The beauty of these products is that they are resorbable, meaning that they are degraded by your own body over time and are therefore temporary.

Consequently, as you age and your face and tastes change, filler injections can be adapted to your needs.

Can you reject HA fillers?

It is possible to have an adverse reaction to any injectable. The beauty of HA fillers is that they are temporary and are dissolvable with an enzyme called hyaluronidase should the need arise.

Unlike permanent fillers, with HA fillers there’s no danger to having a permanent product in your face that your body can read as a foreign object and try to reject by creating lumps, which would require surgical removal.
